REPLACEMENT OF OLD BONDING AND A BAD CROWN
ALONG WITH THE ELIMINATION OF A "GUMMY SMILE"

This patient presented with the concern that her bonding was old, stained, and generally worn. She was also unhappy with the way that her crowned lateral incisor looked.

A treatment plan was developed to design a new smile, replacing the old bonding with porcelain veneers along with a new crown which fit and matched properly.

The most significant aspect of this case was that we were able to eliminate the excessive display of gingival tissue (gums). This was accomplished with proper planning, careful "plastic gum surgery" and a truly skilled ceramist. The patient was thrilled with her beautiful new smile
