Bonding
Dental bonding is a restorative procedure that fills in decaying
teeth with a composite resin (durable plastic) which is hardened
with a high-intensity ultraviolet light that essentially “bonds”
the material to the tooth. Composites are tooth-colored in order
to effectively create a natural improvement in either the front
or back of the mouth. The thin coating of plastic material last
for up to 10 years and will produce one or all of the following
results:
•
repair decayed teeth
• repair chipped or cracked teeth
• lighten discolored teeth
• close spaces between teeth
• alter the teeth’s length or shape
• protect the tooth's root if receding gums have exposed
it
And the best part? It's a quick, painless, and affordable way
to drastically improve one’s smile!
