As
a new patient to our practice, we would like to inform you of
what you may expect on your first appointment, in addition to
a first smooth-running office trip.
During your first visit, we will take your blood pressure, provide
a complimentary oral cancer screening, and take a complete set
of dental X-rays. Unless you’ve had a complete set taken
within the past year, it will be necessary to update your medical
records.
We
recognize that many insurance companies may only cover dental
X-rays every three years. But the issue is no comparison to
the potential dangers of having obsolete or inaccurate medical
information on record. We simply want the best for your health
and your smile!
Due to the initial assessment and comprehensive check up, your
first visit will last for about 1.5 hours. If cavities need
to be filled or teeth extracted, another appointment will be
made to address these issues in the very near future. In terms
of scheduling, most appointments will take about two weeks.
However, if there is an emergency of any sort, our staff will
see you ASAP.
In
order to expedite the paperwork needed to be complete at your
first appointment, please download the health
history form now, fill it out and fax to our office or bring
in on the day of your visit. And arriving a few minutes early
will allow us to go over any questions you may have. Please
